Elite Exteriors completely resided a large single family home! The work was completed on time and there were no issues from start to finish. The crews were professional and no short cuts were taken. This repair was part of a real estate transaction so multiple parties were involved…Buyers, Sellers and the Title Company. The property closed as all parties were very happy with the results of the repair. Proper documentation and warranties were also provided.
As a real estate agent, I always try to partner with contractors who can get things done properly in a timely manner. I work h****** my clients behalf so that things go smoothly and love having Scott available to help me when needed. Team of 7 or 8 roofers arrived promptly as scheduled along with their gear and dumpster. They worked steadily and seemed very efficient. Everyone worked on the tear-off until they had removed enough for some of the men to start working on protruding staples/nails. As soon as enough area of that had been done, some started on the re-roof. As the tear-off was completed and then the nails/staples were completed, more guys moved to the next phase until all were roofing. Seemed as though everyone knew his task and what to do next. Much to my surprise, work really was almost done in one day. It started to sprinkle in the late afternoon. There was about 2 square feet of shingles left to lay, which was completed quickly. They packed up their equipment and spent time making sure all trash had been picked up.
Two or maybe three guys returned the next morning to finish flashing around the chimney and a couple of odds and ends. Dumpster was removed promptly. New gutters and gutter covers were installed the next day. Replacing the rotted fascia board was missed in the work. I called about it and the work was done promptly, and the way I wanted. We are very pleased with the work that was done. House looks good and the gutter covers work. The price was reasonable, not the most expensive and not the cheapest. Worth what we paid. Will call them for an estimate on the next project!

We bought our first home that was in need of a new roof. We were hoping to get this done before spring so we went to Angie’s List to request some quotes. Scott got back to me right away, Dave came out that same evening and we had a quote within two days. I really appreciated that there was no big “sales pitch” – they use a great product and stand behind their work. We had a few more companies quote the job, but chose Elite Exteriors based on their reputation, their quote and the fact that they could get the job done right away. Due to some bad weather our job was pushed back a few weeks, but once the rain/wind/snow stopped they started working. The crew that worked on our roof was friendly and professional – they actually came out on Thanksgiving Day to finish the job while the weather was cooperating. When we got home the work was done and the yard was cleared of all debris. As promised, the dumpster was delivered the morning of the job and removed the day after work was done. Great job all around.

Elite Exteriors was a pleasure to work with. Scott gave us a lot of information that helped make our decision much easier to have them do our siding in our 44 year old home. We were not sure if James Hardies HardiPlank cement was the route that we wanted to take for our home however after our first meeting with Scott and seeing some of their work on other homes the decision was easy. We are truly happy with the results; the house looks perfect as Scott told us that it would be. The staff was professional, friendly and ready to answers any questions. You can tell they have being doing this for years. The only recommendation that I will make for the staff is to use a magnet pickup tool to clean the nails after the job is completed. We hand-picked lots of nails and also called Scott who was very concerned that this happened. He sent the crew again, and they cleaned more, however they didn’t use a tool. We ended up renting a magnet pickup tool to pick the rest of the nails. Overall if you are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable contractor with very pleasant employees to do quality work on your home, we would highly recommend Elite Exteriors.

Scott personally came out an gave the estimation. Very honest, personable, and professional. He had a crew out there in just a little over a week to begin the project. The old siding was removed and new siding installed within a 3 day time frame. After the completion, I did notice some issues with the new siding (which looked like a defect from the factory). Scott came back over the weekend to take a look at the problem. His crew was back within a few days and corrected any imperfections. We went from the 1970’s “gangrene” colored house on the block, to a beautifully updated beige exterior in about 2 weeks time. Scott was great to work with, has friendly and professional staff, and stands by his company’s work. Highly recommended and will use again for future projects.

Great experience – absolute professionals. From the start of the interview phase in January we were very impressed with Elite Exteriors, who we learned about while doing extensive research on cementboard siding to replace failing cedar siding. We were not planning on doing all 3 projects at once but knew the original windows were a big issue and had obtained several quotes a year or so prior. Scott came out several times to discuss the project, ask questions and make recommendations, and always provided options and alternatives, as well as offered completed projects for us to look at. He also respected our budget, while pointing out the long term impact of waiting on certain things. One thing he talked us out of we would have regretted doing and the one thing he encouraged us to do made all the difference. We felt that not only Scott but also everyone from Elite Exteriors was working as if it was their own home. From his team who came to take measurements, to the window rep, to the job site leads, to the finish carpenter, electrician, painters, etc. everyone knew what was going on – it was an integrated, organized effort. Scott, Dave, Linda, Paul, Nick, Rob, Mary, Jeff, Jose…everybody was great! Our scheduled early August start began on time and moved quickly. Some things that really stood out from other contractor relationships we’ve had:
-Scott was always patient, accessible and responsive, even at the end of the project. Much more of a consultant than a salesman.
-Changes or “non-contracted” requests were accommodated without hesitation or “nickel & diming”.
-Project leads and crew regularly asked for preferences when I didn’t even consider that I had a choice. i.e.) At one point, while cutting exterior trim molding, they created 2 different “looks” for me to choose from. One was what I had “picked”. The other was one they thought looked better – they were right.
-They were happy to coordinate timing with our own subs when necessary and helped us anticipate that timing.
-Everyone took pride in their work and seemed very particular. The job leaders were meticulous about the work they did and oversaw, as well as the cleanup, interior and exterior, each day.
-We were always informed of schedule specifics. Everyone seemed to be aware of the whole job scope and timing.
-Handling of mistakes: The one issue we had was an incorrect order resulting from a typo that we signed off on. Scott took care of it immediately with the supplier without question. The buck stopped with him on everything, but clearly has a ton of confidence in his team. Scott said in the beginning that they wouldn’t be done until we felt everything was perfect. An easy thing to say, but Elite Exteriors held to that standard.

Scott came out to our house a couple of times to dial in exactly what we wanted. We went with Elite Exteriors because they were the only certified James Hardie certified installer in the area. Our house is barn style house and over 5000 square feet with some unique angles, so we wanted the best. We signed the contract, gave him the deposit and Scott ordered the material. When the materials arrived they came out and ripped off the existing siding and gutters and wrapped the house in insulation. We ran into some weather problems which caused some delays, but not too bad. He had a great crew come out and put up the new siding. You could really tell they knew what they were doing. With the weather delays the entire project took about a month, a little longer than planned, but they kept us informed every step. Scott and his team do a great job.

We used Elite Exteriors to replace the HardiPlank cement siding on our home. The home is 14 years old but the original siding was never installed correctly and we wanted a contractor we could trust to do it right, as this was a very large and unwelcome expense. What attracted us to Elite Exteriors to begin with was their expertise with HardiPlank products, then they supplied the winning bid. We are very happy we chose to go with this company. From beginning to end, everyone we came in contact with was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, pleasant and highly skilled, with the end result even better than expected. Management was extremely responsive, understanding and helpful, and the crew working on the job was superior. Not only did they do an excellent job on the siding, they went out of their way to accommodate every extra request we made and they kept our yard clean and picked up each afternoon before leaving for the day. Our home is fairly large, tall and sits on a slope. They tackled all of that without a problem. The Elite Exteriors team did a complete tear off on my home and detached garage, replaced a flat roof over a one-story addition and replaced the railing that surrounded the flat roof. In addition they replaced all of my downspouts and gutters. I was very impressed with how fast they were in getting everything done. The railings on the flat roof were installed with great care and attention to detail. The Elite Exteriors crew was always very professional and worked hard to get everything done properly including cleanup when they left for the day. Originally Scott’s father, Dave, came out to give me an estimate. He gave me an estimate for both the house and the garage. He was very helpful and explained everything to me. When I received the report it was all broken down into comprehensible steps so that I knew exactly what I would be paying for – step by step. I did call Scott with a few questions and he promptly explained everything to my satisfaction. The work started a few weeks later. I chose to complete just the house and not the garage. I appreciated that there was no hard sell to do the garage at the same time. The workers arrived promptly and finished the house in one day. Everything was done as stated. All scraps put in a dumpster, nails vacuumed up, everything removed, by the time they left. A few days later the crew came that installed the gutters and drain pipes. These were also put up quickly. As this is a rental property it was easy for me to check on as the work was performed when stated. I could not be more pleased. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Elite Exteriors again.

We chose Elite Exteriors, LLC due to the courteous salesmen and competitive quote. The crew showed up early and immediately started with the tear off the front of the house and the garage. The tear off of 4 layers of existing shingles created a lot of debris, but the crew worked diligently to keep our yard and our neighbors yards clean. The crew worked hard and even stayed until dusk to finish the shingles on the front of the house so the roof would be prepared for the next day’s storms. After the day of inclement weather, the crew returned and finished the remainder of the house and installed the roof vents. All of the work performed was done with the utmost professionalism and they didn’t cut any corners. Flashing was used in all of the required places and an appropriate color choice was made to blend in with the new shingle color. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality work performed and the new roof has really improved the curb appeal of our house. Also, I never found any shingles or nails in yard which is extremely important with 3 young children running around. I would not hesitate to use Elite Exteriors again in the future or recommend them to anyone considering a roof project for their house.

We have had them do work for us in the past (wood floor refinished upstairs) and we thought they did such a beautiful job with the floors we asked them to come back and put a new roof on for us. They did excellent work and communication with them was excellent also. They answered all of my questions promptly through email or phone. Dan the chimney guy did an excellent job rebuilding the house chimney he got it done in 2 days. While roofing, a piece of shingle hit one of our glass windows, cracking it, when Dan came to rebuild the chimney, he took the window and brought it back the next week! We contacted Elite Exteriors to repair a leaking skylight for our home we recently purchased. They first sent someone out to seal our window, but it had continued to leak. Scott the owner then came out and checked the window himself and sent his foreman out to re-seal it a second time, but again it continued leaking. At that point we were ready to just order a brand new window, but Scott asked us to let them come out and give it 1 last try. His foreman added some ice and water barrier material around the window and really took his time to make sure any area that could cause a possible leak was covered. Since then we have had no leaking even with all the heavy rains afterward. We appreciated the fact that Scott didn’t just try to sell us a new window right off the bat. The replacement work went very well. They came on time. They completed the roofing the first day. The next two weeks were spent tearing off the old cedar siding and putting on the Hardee Plank. We had several architectural features that we liked and they were replaced on the house. The house has maintained its look. Once all the siding was finished, the new gutters and gutter guards were installed in about a half a day. The workers cleaned up their mess and made a point of walking around the house picking up bits of construction materials out of the garden beds near the house. We had nothing to clean up. The quality of work was excellent. Our house looks brand new and we are very happy!

I am the President of a Condo Association on the East Side of Milwaukee. Our building is 13 years old and starting to show its age. We had water damage to some of our siding and water infiltration problems due to an original shoddy build/craftsmanship. Because we want to keep our dues low, we needed a vendor who was both expert and diligent about the job, as well as reasonable with rates. We got 9 bids to ensure we were doing the right thing for our building.
I am happy to say I have never been more convinced we chose the right and best vendor for the job. Scott and his team were patient with all my questions and probing, and answered all questions with expertise and in layman’s terms that any novice could understand. Their workmanship was efficient, thorough, and meticulous. They were flexible with the order of fixes to be accommodating to individual unit owners. They were respectful of the surroundings and cleaned up every day like it was their own homes. And they were honest about what needed to be replaced vs. what could be painted and caulked. I feel they really worked with me to get the outcome desired at reasonable rates. In the end they truly just want their clients to be happy with the end results. I simply will never use any other vendor besides Elite Exteriors for our exterior (siding, trim, roofing) building needs.

Scott came out after-hours on very (3 hours) short notice to perform a roof inspection & estimate We were under a tight deadline to get an additional roof inspection completed before the contingency period of a home we have an offer in on expired. We reviewed the entire roof, soffits, fascia, gutters, downspouts and structure together. He took time to explain the proper function of each area, and indicated deficiencies where appropriate — and pointed out things that were acceptable and needed no work. Alternative fixes were also explained, with the cost/benefit analysis to go along. He also indicated the possibility of a phased approach, where we could tackle a few items at a time over a period of years to not break the bank.
Scott provided a written inspection report, along with a detailed cost estimate (including the options he offered) that will allow us to understand the repairs and costs involved with a roof “rehab.”

First, I was very happy because I actually got to speak with someone when I called. I was releaved because I called several roofing companies that morning and had only been able to leave messages. I understood we had only a small job and people might not pounce on it.
The person I spoke with, Scott, told me that he would contact his guys and have someone over to install the exhaust either the same day or the next day. I was very impressed with this because I know that a job this small is probably pesky to most people. Dan called me back the next morning and told me he would be over to do the job in about one hour. I was thrilled because it was early enough to schedule a rough inspection for later that day. The work when well, he was done in about one hour. I would definitely use Elite Exteriors again because of how they accommodated my little project into their otherwise busy schedule!

Soffit vents were talked about but missed in contract but they came back and did at no charge when I questioned it.

Elite Exteriors was professional, polite, and punctual. The roof repair was done in a day and we haven’t had a leak in our living room since. Very happy with how it looks and how the repair has lasted! The repair was a little expensive, but worth it in the long run. We plan on hiring them again to fix some siding that is causing leaks upstairs. I highly recommend this company–great job

Scott quickly assessed the condition of our existing siding and provided a quote for removal and installation of HardiPlank. He was very knowledgeable about not only HardiPlank but all siding materials. Based on Scott’s experience, recommendations, and ability to start on the project quickly, we hired Elite Exteriors. His crew was polite and they cleaned up the site daily, so we weren’t living in a constant construction zone. The siding looks beautiful and we would use Elite Exteriors again. In addition to the siding, they also installed missing flashings and fixed a ridge vent on the roof that had collapsed.

What a great experience. Scott came out and gave me a great price. When the crew came out a few weeks later and did the attic insulation, installed the windows and doors they did a superb job with the install even down to caulking and installation of molding around the windows.
I trust Elite Exteriors and would use them again. If you are looking for new or replacement windows your search is over. It just doesn’t get any better than these guys. Give them a call.

We are hiring them to tear off our existing roof and put a new roof and gutters on our home and garage. They came out for the estimate and were very friendly, punctual and informative. They emailed us their bid a few days later which was substantially more reasonable than others we had received. We have not had the work done yet but so far they have been very punctual and professional with all correspondence.

Had Elite Exteriors out to quote a garage roof, soffit, and gutters, as well as some repair work on a gutter on our home. The price was about the same as the other quotes I had received. We decided to use Elite Exteriors, and everything was wonderful. The crew was right on time. Dan, the lead man, made sure to keep me informed throughout the day. Everything looks great. We would definitely use Elite Exteriors again.

It went very well. They were on time, protected my plants and cleaned up during and after project. They had a large crew and completed tear off and put on new shingles and roof ridge vents in one day and new gutters a few days later along with additional soffits. There was one glitch (did not install roof ridge vents on garage as per contract), but they came back the next day to install roof ridge vents. I was initially concerned with the timing of the project and Scott, the owner, met all my concerns.

Scott came personally and walked us through all of the options and helped us put together a great plan, he stayed in touch with us as we made a decision and was receptive as we refined color choices, etc. The work was completed within a week and part of a day by a great team, they handled some logistics challenges with supplies and dumpsters very well and took great care of the house and surrounding area. The team was helpful and attentive to what we needed, we weren’t pressure but were clearly informed about a roof flashing change they needed to make and were happy to make the improvement. When we decided to add a door to the garage they pulled in a carpenter and were able to take care of it without a timeline change at a reasonable cost. We would definitely recommend the Elite Exteriors team and will be reaching out to them for any future needs!

My home is an older home (1936) with the large, leaded round top windows and I wanted to keep the look of the windows while getting greater energy efficiency. Elite Exteriors installed windows that needed to be custom made by Marvin and they fit perfectly. They also needed to be stained to match the current wood work in the house. The windows look as if they have always been a part of the house.There was some custom interior woodworking that needed to be done to retrofit the new windows and Elite Exteriors did a superior job on this part of the project. We had a small snafu with pricing, but I was informed immediately and since this was a difficult project I understand it. The attention to detail, professionalism and care of Elite Exteriors is outstanding.

It did take a while for the company to finally come out to do the job, but considering the weather. Also, they went beyond and fixed a couple of little problem areas on the roof. Thank you!

I have been remiss in waiting so long to write this review. We bought our home last summer knowing we needed to replace the roof. We had a bid from another company and called Elite Exteriors for a second bid. For equivalent quality work/shingles/guarantee, Elite’s estimate was cheaper by nearly $10K than the other companies. It was very easy to receive information regarding the materials, shingles, warranties, etc. They were very helpful in pricing and choosing shingles. The crew came out at 7 am, worked 11 hours for two days, and a half day the next. In 2.5 days, we had a new roof! They were very efficient and courteous, and thoroughly cleaned up any mess.
The gutter replacement went fine, but not quite as quickly. This took over a week to accomplish. Two men came out for an hour or two here and there to do the work. When I asked Elite Exteriors about this, they stated that they sub-contract this portion of the work. The work was done quite well; it was just a bit annoying waiting for them to finish the work and having supplies and things around the house for that long. They wouldn’t have us pay until we were completely satisfied with the job they did. Which we were. The best part: driving up to our home, seeing a beautiful new roof, and saying, “Wow! Look at that!” We did that for at least a few weeks. Thanks, Elite Exteriors!

The crew that came in to put a new roof on our garage did a great job. They got down to business right away, no one was standing around; everyone was working, everyone new exactly what needed to be done. They got the job done in about 3 hours; from setting up, tearing off the old roof and putting on a new one, to picking up the last bit of debris and driving off. When we got the final bill it was exactly the same as the estimate. No hidden costs, extra charges or surprise fees. They did what they said they were going to do.

I agreed to have some aluminum trim installed on my rear porch. The job was done very well and on time. Because of this I asked to have some small improvements done on my front porch. I was told by the worker he would mention this to Scott and they would get back to me. At this point is where another communication problem occurred. I waited several weeks to here from Scott and got no reply. After talking with Scott I was told the worker simply forgot to tell him! This is why I am lowering the overall grade to B. If you can actually get Elite Exteriors to arrive and give you an estimate they do a good job. This has been a big IF for me. I don’t think the amount of time I have wasted for a reply from Elite Exteriors was fair to me.

They where at house when said they would be. Very polite and fast, they where done in one day. Loved the outcome, owner contacted me afterwards to check how we liked the outcome, was very happy they could finish job inbetween snow storms. Only found 3 nails that where missed,but we had some snow already.

We had all the interior doors replaced with 6 panel doors and matching trim woodwork. Elite’s finish carpenter Rob was great. Fantastic finish woodworker. He was prompt and kept the house clean, vacuumed everyday when he was done. Work was completed in a very timely manner, we couldn’t be happier with Elite Exteriors.

They are in the middle of the project; the cold kind of upset everything. They keep in touch because we weren’t expecting all this cold weather and when they were going to start the project, everything came to a halt but they keep up with me to make sure that they haven’t forgotten. I had several people come over and give me an estimate and they came and they checked the roof that had to be replaced and looked at the gutters and went through all the area around the house to make sure that they will be able to put the gutters in the places they are supposed to be. I am the second house they did the same thing so they were very thorough. Of course, I put in a fifty percent deposit and signed a contract with them. They were supposed to start in early December so I would assume, they would be starting it sometime next month when the weather lets up. They quoted me $6000, which is not unfair for the work that they are going to do.

I would recommend Elite Exteriors to anyone looking to side their home. They were professional, honest, and great problem solvers. We had a few unexpected things come up during our project and their response time and help was exactly what was needed as quickly as it could have been done. This is a fabulous company starting with the owner and trickling all the way down to the daily workers.

Excellent people and company. Had a reasonable bid with a lot of details, so I knew what we were signing up for. Was the only roofing contractor that actually had shingle samples at the time of the first visit, which also helped clear up ambiguity for the project. Good and easy communication via email. Job got started a little bit later than we planned, and took a day longer, but I was impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the crew. Clean-up was thorough and more importantly the roof looks beautiful. Had concerns about the cooler temperatures when the roof was put on, but Scott gave me his word and absolute guarantee, and put to rest any worry that I had about that. I would not hesitate to recommend the Elite Exteriors.
